About Me

Murrieta, CA, United States
I'm not a mini-van-driving Soccer Mom. Err, well - we can 86 the Soccer part. And the mini-van. So I'm a Mom and I drive. I am a former careeraholic. Although I no longer work outside the home, my working hours have increased significantly. I am currently negotiating my salary. I am married to the Navy... I mean a Naval Petty Officer. We have three boys ages 13, 10 & 4 and two kittens who literally think they are people. I don't believe in Religion. I believe in Jesus and respect others' Spiritual identification. My views on politics can be described in one word: "Shcmolitics". I am honest, sensitive and genuine. I don't refer to human beings as [blog] "Traffic" or "Followers". FYI: I don't sell Mary Kay Cosmetics any longer - so you're off the hook.

Forwarded Emails

At the risk of sounding cold or uncaring, I really do have to say something. Those who know me understand my sensitive little heart. They all know that I cannot watch an episode of Extreme Home Makeover with Ty Pennington, or see that ad with Sara McLoughlin and the mistreated animals, or Save the Children without bawling the entire way through it.

BUT I am just plain sick and tired of the forwarded emails of some (likely false) sob story where in the end they say if you don't send it to at least 20 people you will rot in you-know-where! Most of these emails have no real purpose and I would prefer not to get any of them.

Back in like '94 or so when email was relatively new to me, I fell for each and every story I received. I felt compelled to drop whatever I was doing and forward these IMPORTANT messages along where it could reach millions - only if this group sent it to that group and that group sent it to another 30....the message could multiply, essentially creating an electronic miracle! All these wonders could be accomplished just by me doing my little part!

Fourteen years later, we find ourselves in the midst of a different kind of electronic miracle. It's called SNOPES, folks. Use it!

Oh, and if you don't know the address and weren't aware that you could google it, just copy & paste this address: http://www.snopes.com

If you don't know how to copy and paste, just type it in using your fingers and keyboard.

lol :-)
